The entire DOUXO^® S3 range contains Ophytrium, an exclusive purified natural ingredient from the root of Ophiopogon japonicus, carefully selected from among several hundred ingredients for its high tolerance and simultaneous threefold action on the skin barriers:

Restores the balance of the protective microbial flora for healthy skin

Seboliance, a natural extract for seborrhoeic disorders

In the DOUXO^® S3 SEB line, we included Seboliance, a natural extract from the peel of Pomegranate for its properties on flakes and sebum production:

Reduces excess sebum thanks to its seboregulating properties, improving quality of the coat
Helps normalising cell differentiation with a beneficial effect on scaling,
Helps controlling yeast overgrowth, frequent in this type of disorders

As a consequence, unpleasant odours resulting from excess sebum are significantly decreased.

Chlorhexidine digluconate, a powerful antiseptic ingredient

Bacterial and fungal overgrowth are common in skin conditions in pets. The increased frequency of infection with methicillin-resistant bacteria has led to reconsider antimicrobial therapy, with experts now recommending the use of topical antimicrobials as first choice.

In the DOUXO^® S3 PYO line, we included 3% chlorhexidine digluconate, a powerful antiseptic ingredient with both fast antibacterial and antifungal action.
